discovered the music of gardening as a child in the verdent landscape of his Cuban mother's tropical Miami

tropical Miami.

      Through the years he nurtured his green thumb and horticultural interests planting beautiful gardens in the diverse climes of South Dakota, Wisconsin, Rhode Island and Arkansas before coming to Kentucky.  He lives in Berea where he is gardener-designer at the Gwen-David residence he shares with Gwendolyn Childs. 

    After becoming a UK Cooperative

Extension Master Gardener in 2009 David founded The Garden Bardresidential gardening business, which serves Berea and Central Kentucky.
